In general, the ideology of myths and legends is a very important and integral part of historical events and plays a major role in history in general. No one is ever the same. Look, for example, at the Boston Tea Party or Abraham Lincoln. His idea that all men were equal and brought about the emancipation of slavery made him a legend. The whole idea of a clever red-blooded man who fought for human rights and was president of the United States had a huge impact around the world.
